Summit clears up Breaking Dawn rumors!

Listen up Twi-Hards. We now have some Breaking Dawn movie rumors cleared up straight form the source, Summit Entertainment:

We talked with some people here and we wanted to clear up a few rumors that have been circulating. Please understand that if we haven’t listed it below, either we haven’t heard the rumor or we can’t comment on it:

•There is only one casting director working on THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN films right now – Deborah Zane. As of right now no local auditions are being held. If Deborah’s name is not attached to it in some form or another, it is not legitimate. She is also not putting out nationwide casting notices. Once again – as was the case with NEW MOON and ECLIPSE – any ads you see are completely false. She has set up an e-mail address specifically for casting inquiries (BreakingDawnCast@gmail.com). We ask you please spread this news to your readers, as we don’t want them getting taken advantage of by casting scams!

•Lexicon touched base regarding a rumor about Renesmee’s name changing in BREAKING DAWN. I cleared it up with them, but let me tell you as well – it is FALSE.

•Amanda (Twi Examiner) asked about Riley’s appearance in BREAKING DAWN because it was listed on Xavier’s IMDb page. I already told her, but in case you did not see her post, Riley will not appear in the BREAKING DAWN films. It is a rumor

•Also not confirmed is anything you have heard about the US release date of the ECLIPSE DVD. We have not announced it yet, so unless it is international and confirmed by an international distributor, it is a rumor.

Breaking Dawn Filming Dates: November 1 - March 15

According to Gossip Cop

“The actors arrive on set in October for rehearsal, hair and make-up tests, etc.” Shooting begins in November, and “this has always been the plan.”

“There may be some confusion because actors have said in interviews that they start in October,” explains our insider. “Prep for the actors starts in October, [but] production has always been scheduled for November.”

An unofficial photo of Kristen Stewart as Marylou on the set of the long-in-development adaptation of Jack Kerouac’s On the Road has landed online. The film co-stars Garrett Hedlund as Dean Moriarty, Sam Riley as Sal Paradise, Kirsten Dunst as Camille, Amy Adams as Jane, and Viggo Mortensen as Old Bull Lee.

Filming began on August 4th, and we received a press release announcing that Steve Buscemi, Elisabeth Moss (Mad Men), Alice Braga (Predators), Tom Sturridge (Pirate Radio), Danny Morgan (the TV show Off the Hook), and Terrence Howard. However, we don’t know which roles they’ll be playing. I’d be able to provide an educated guess but I haven’t read the book yet. It’s currently sitting in a pile of other classic works of literature that I keep by my bed to make me feel bad about myself.

WALTER SALLES’ ON THE ROAD STARTS PRINCIPAL PHOTOGRAPHY

MK2 presents ON THE ROAD, a film by Walter Salles, adapted from Jack Kerouac’s legendary novel by José Rivera.

The shooting started on Wednesday, August 4 and will continue until the end of the year in New Orleans, Mexico, Canada and San Francisco.

After the death of his father, Sal Paradise, an aspiring New York writer, meets Dean Moriarty, a young and dangerously seductive ex-con. They hit it off immediately. Determined not to get trapped in a narrow life, the two friends burn their bridges and hit the road : thirsting for freedom, they discover the world, others and themselves.

ON THE ROAD is an MK2 production, produced by Rebecca Yeldham.

Executive producers are Nathanael Karmitz and Charles Gillibert.

The film is co-produced by American Zoetrope, VideoFilmes, Film4 and France 2.

MK2 is in charge of international sales.

Costume Designer Kim Bowen talks Kristen & Welcome to the Rileys

Here are some excerpts of Bowen’s interview talking about Stewart:

Getting the perfect look for Stewart’s character of Mallory:

“Kristen Stewart was a challenge because she is really, really elegant. She is one of the most naturally elegant people I have ever encountered. She just had a natural thing about her body, the way she is shaped and the way she moves. She is an extremely gifted actress and I don’t know if that is part of what lends her as such an expert interpretation of clothes.”

“We went through three different paths to get her wardrobe right. The first time it was a stylist’s dream, she looked amazing. A modern version of Jodie Foster in “Taxi Driver,” she just looked amazing. We then realized it was wrong, she looked too good. We wanted to have her look more fragile.”

”In the end, we had to really strip it down. She ended up wearing large over-size clothes, hiding herself. You only get to really see her fully in her stripper outfits, very crude -what a young girl would think sexy looks like.”

Kristen Stewart’s investment in the character:

“Kristen is a very invested actress. She has been doing the Twilight films, and it was very important to her to play this character with a real dose of reality. I don’t think she wanted anything frivolous out of it, I don’t think she wanted to be glamorous. That wasn’t important to her, she wanted it to be real.”

“Kristen is a very courageous actress. She wanted to be fully that character of Mallory. She didn’t care about looking beautiful; in fact she thought quite the opposite. She had the make-up artist cover her with bruises and cold sores. Kristen looked a wreck half the time. She didn’t have any desire to be physically perfect.”

Welcome to the Rileys tells the story of Gandolfini and Leo, as Doug and his wife Lois who are dealing with the death of their teenage daughter. On a business trip to New Orleans, Doug meets teenage stripper Mallory. After turning her down at the strip club where Mallory works, Doug offers to pay Mallory $100 a day if he can stay for a while, get his head together. No sex. No strings. Lois soons joins Doug in New Orleans, and the couple try to heal their broken lives and save Mallory’s in the process.

Official release dates for Breaking Dawn

The official release dates for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 has been set for November 18, 2011. Part 2 has been set for November 16th, 2012!

Release plans for Breaking Dawn part one and two have been slowly revealed over the course of the last few weeks, but one thing a lot of fans expected from Part 2 was a summer 2012 release (to mirror the schedule that The Twilight Saga: New Moon and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse had). However, that sort of speculation was quickly dismissed as premature, and until now the only official release date available was for Part 1 (November 18, 2011).

With a November, 2012 release date for Breaking Dawn - Part 2, fans will have the time to rest in between each film's release. For some, who experienced a bit of Twilight onslaught over the past year with the close releases for New Moon and Eclipse, this will be a relief.

At any rate, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 will be released on November 18, 2011, and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 will hit theaters on November 16, 2012.
