No straight to DVD for Kristen Stewart.
All the pole dancing bruises and the promotion for her film Welcome to the Rileys has paid off as the film lands a distributor for the US. Director Jake Scott admits they were very lucky to have Stewart in the film.
"We shot this in 2008, so Twilight came out when we'd wrapped," he told reporters in Berlin where the film is currently showing at the Berlin Film Festival. I would have to agree with that one, I imagine half the people going to see this flick are interested in what Bella looks like when she strips. Lucky for them they also happen to know Sean Penn who recommended Stewart based on her Into the Wild performance, a film he directed.
